I’ve been colouring more Noonan comics. Here’s a panel from one of ‘em.

Here are all those abandoned Chloe Noonan pages in one place (they read a bit better in one go).
It might be clearer to read them outside of the Tumblr Dashboard…
If you’re unfamiliar with the ginger whinger then may I direct you to my store where you have some reading to do.

Last page of the unfinished Chloe Noonan comic I started last year. What happens next is Chloe is trapped in a classroom with The Breakfast Club, there’s some monsters of all a sudden, Zoe gets sick (obvs) and blind panic takes over.

I totally Schulzed Zoe in the sixth panel.

Page 3 of the unfinished Noonan comic. Hey look they have a cat now.

These strips are looking totally squished on the tumblr dashboard (ugh just make it wider already) so click here to see it double the size.

I’ve been having a real awful time with comics recently, just the worst. I think I’m in a bit of a creative rut and motivation’s proving difficult. To remind myself why I love them I thought it might be a good idea to work on something I can show off straight away rather than working on something that no one will see for 6-12 months and go stir crazy in the mean time.

I started working on this Chloe Noonan story late last year but put it on the backburner over Christmas and ultimately abandoned it. The major plot point will go into this narrative I’m sort of working on at the moment but as I quite liked these drawings it seemed a shame to put them in the proverbial bin.

It’s nice to see these faces again.

There’s no schedule to this but I’ve got 4 pages drawn so I’ll upload them when I’ve polished them up.

(On a separate note the permission slip thing might not be relevant for 17 year olds, or it might be, I don’t know, so don’t go getting all pedantic on me, internet.)

(If you’re at a loss as to who these characters are, then your homework is here and you can catch up on all the adventures so far in a handy DRM-free PDF for only £2.99 £1.49)

A seasonal rerun from earlier in the year! I still like this one a bunch, I think this is when my characters started to look like how I imagined them all those years ago and was the start of me self consciously making my drawings a bit “squidgy”
I did try and do another Christmas special for this year, but alas work commitments got in the way, but it’s pretty funny so maybe I’ll draw it up ready for next year. If you’ve read the new Chloe mini comic then it was going to feature the breakout star from that particular strip.
I want to do a write up on 2013 as it seemed like an important year, but we’ll see. I really hope scientists are looking into getting this much needed 8th day lodged into our calendar.
Happy holidays! marcellerby:
